2012 Jodo promotions in Japan

Congratulations to Kuroyama Budokai founders and principal instructors Damon Schearer and Brendan Kee who were promoted to Jodo Yondan after successfully passing an examination held by the Miyagi Prefecture of the All Japan Kendo Renmei in Sendai on 24 June 2016.

The exam was preceded by several days intense training under the guidance of Nagayama Kuniaki Sensei Jodo Kyoshi Nanadan.

Our Tojinkai Dojo (VKR) friend Tony Pickering, and Wollongong Kendo Club (NSW) friend Robert Brown were also promoted to Jodo Godan.
