Congratulations to Kuroyama Budokai founder and principal instructor Damon Schearer Kee who was promoted to Iaido Godan after successfully passing an examination held by the Miyagi Prefecture of the All Japan Kendo Renmei in Sendai on 7 November.

The exam was preceded by several days intense training under the guidance of Nagayama Kuniaki Sensei Iaido Kyoshi Nanadan.

Our NSWKA friends Peter Dodd and Mejane Hillier were also promoted to Iaido Sandan.
